Romania embraces the Italian dried pasta recipe
A history like many others, but with the aim of creating something unique for their family and their country. Sergiu and Adelina Vladu, a very young couple, were inspired by pasta to create their business in Romania.
Having a family business in their country, where they raise chickens, they had 12,000 eggs a day to use. So why not open a pasta factory? Moreover, within the family, they joked about making Sergiu eat more pasta.
The path towards opening a pasta factory was long and difficult, made of sleepless nights, market researches and travels to find the right company that could support them in the development of this project. We were lucky to be chosen, they are 2 unique people who always have a smile on their face. Their first visit to Italy confirmed that their dream was coming true, we understood it from their enthusiasm when signing the contract.
This is how the Alto Pasta pasta factory was born. They have been meticulous and careful, even in the choice of raw material, top quality semolina that will guarantee them, over time, a dried egg pasta with an incomparable taste.
With our machines ready, we hosted them for a training period in the company, where they were able to learn, guided by our Pasta maker Massimo Parisi, the basics for the production of pasta, the operation and maintenance of the machines, and the recipes for diversified drying according to the pasta shape.
